The brief. Create the first iteration prototype of a iPhone service app
The challenge. Business requirements primary focused on commercial benefits of directly connecting the farmers with the suppliers lacked understanding of the target audience: farmers and their complex workloads in the context of their daily lives.
Proposed UX research. Better define target audience and conduct user research in the form of the audience studies and user interviews and persona creation to uncover the shortcomings of the existing approach.
Proposed UX design solution. Preliminary research uncovered certain specificities of the target audience which lead to adjustment to underlying assumptions, and lead to further research and development.
Stages of implementation: User flow for the proposed use cases
Information architecture and navigation system for user testing
Wire frames and initial look and feel for further development
Results: Clickthrough prototype for testing and user feed back was developed. New user research based on the human factors was deemed necessary. The further user research tasks were defined.
